Yes, that's right. As well as being able to live out you management fantasy on your laptop, smartphone and tablet, you can now disappoint your virtual supporters on a games console as well. Brilliant!
The Xbox version of the game is based on the hugely successful FM Touch series and it will be fully optimised for current and next gen controllers.
The full, undiluted version of FM21 is set to be Sports Interactive most immersive and realistic simulation yet. Full details of all the new features will be revealed over the next month or so. For now, here's a quick teaser as to what to expect.
"FM21 places a renewed focus on the role of the manager, adding more tools that allow managers to develop their personalities and prowess," an SI statement read.
"New additions and game upgrades deliver unparalleled levels of football authenticity and extra layers of depth and drama. We’ll be unveiling features and licensing updates from early October across the Football Manager social media channels and the Football Manager website."
Sports Interactive’s studio director, Miles Jacobson, added: “Football Manager 2021 is a historic release for us as a studio. We’re bringing FM to more platforms than ever before and giving more people the chance to manage their favourite club – whether that’s on their PC, from the comfort of their sofa or on their phone or tablet.”
Until the game's release in November, every pre-order from a SEGA approved digital retailer will receive a whopping 10% discount and the chance to kick off your management journey ahead of schedule via early access.
