For the first time ever, the Barclays Women’s Super League is fully licensed in FIFA 23.

Not only are your favourite teams and players all there, but playing with them has been fully maximised thanks to the all-new HyperMotion 2.0 technology, which has created the most realistic animations for both male and female players that we’ve ever seen.

To celebrate the inclusion of the BWSL, here are the top players from the league in FIFA 23.

11. Ona Batlle

Manchester United full-back Ona Batlle kicks us off with a rating of 85.

Predominantly a right-back but comfortable on the left, Batlle is a defensive force with 89 for stand tackle and 86 for slide tackle.

Her 90 stamina means Batlle will be a massive presence from the first minute of a match until the last.

10. Fran Kirby

Chelsea and England star Fran Kirby comes in at number ten.

The 29-year-old, who plays striker, right wing and attacking midfield, is a cool 86 overall.

Kirby boasts 91 dribbling and 90 ball control, so she’ll feel unreal to play with thanks to the new HyperMotion 2.0.

9. Guro Reiten

Joining Kerr at 86 is Chelsea teammate Guro Reiten, who is part of a dominant Norway international side alongside Ada Hegerberg and Caroline Graham Hansen.

Reiten is primarily a left midfielder but you can move her into the middle and even play her in attack.

94 crossing is Reiten’s stand-out stat, so you might want to keep her out wide to make the most of that.

8. Pernille Harder

The third Chelsea player in a row, Pernille Harder looks a whole lot of fun to play with.

92 dribbling speaks for itself, but add in 89 sprint speed and 88 ball control, and you’ll really feel all the benefits of the new dribbling mechanics.

Harder also has the Outside Foot Shot trait, which is proving particularly effective in FIFA 23.

7. Manuela Zinsberger

Breaking the Chelsea trend is Arsenal goalkeeper Manuela Zinsberger, who also comes in at 86 overall.

The Austria international, who comes in with 90 reflexes and 88 positioning, is the highest-rated shot stopper in the BWSL.

With a four-star weak foot as well, don’t be afraid to use Zinsberger on the ball.

6. Millie Bright

Back over at Chelsea, the first player to reach 87 overall is towering centre-back Millie Bright.

Bright’s 92 strength and 90 jumping will make her a real problem against any WSL attacker, as will her 91 aggression.

Don’t be scared to use her as a playmaker as well as Bright comes in with 89 long passing and 86 short passing.

5. Lauren Hemp

The first Manchester City player to feature is England winger Lauren Hemp, who shares Bright’s 87-overall rating.

The 22-year-old comes with four-star skills and a three-star weak foot.

Hemp’s stand-out attributes are her 92 sprint speed, acceleration and dribbling, so she will feel out of this world to play with in game.

4. Beth Mead

Arsenal’s Beth Mead comes in at four as an 88 overall.

Primarily a right midfielder, the England star is one of the best finishers around with 92, and her 93 attacking positioning will make her almost unstoppable to play against.

If you want to use her as more of a creator, then her 91 dribbling and 89 ball control should do the trick.

3. Kim Little

Mead’s teammate, Kim Little, also comes in with a rating of 88.

The 32-year-old midfielder is one of the best playmakers around thanks to her 89 short passing, 84 crossing and 81 long passing.

Her 91 attacking positioning, coupled with 84 long shots, could be a whole lot of fun.

2. Vivianne Miedema

Completing the Arsenal trifecta is the prolific Vivianne Miedema.

Miedema is the only BWSL player with an overall of 89 and you’ll feel every bit of that rating thanks to her 95 attacking position, 92 composure and 90 finishing. If there’s a goal to score, she’ll score it.

Her four-star skills and four-star weak foot only add to the danger Miedema can cause in the opposition box.

1. Sam Kerr

Leading the charge is Chelsea superstar Sam Kerr, who boasts a whopping 91-overall rating.

As you’d imagine, there’s not a lot Kerr can’t do. Her 92 ball control is superb and her combination of 86 strength and 85 sprint speed will cause countless problems for defenders.

Kerr’s bread and butter, however, is her goalscoring. With 95 positioning, 93 finishing, 92 volleys and 92 composure, there is no better striker on the game.
