Every Premier League team's player of the weekend - gameweek 25
Another week, another fairly entertaining weekend of Premier League football.
Man City continued their dominance with a 4-0 win over Norwich, Man Utd continued their abysmal form with a 1-1 draw at home to Southampton, and Tottenham made it three defeats in their last three Premier League games with an embarrassing 2-0 defeat to Wolves.
And there were plenty of standout performers in these games and the other six played across England's top flight at the weekend.
Here's who we picked out as each team's standout player of gameweek 25.
Aston Villa - Tyrone Mings (7/10) vs Newcastle
What we said: "Marshalled the backline well and there were some crucial blocks from the skipper."
Brentford - Mathias Jensen (7/10) vs Crystal Palace
What we said: "His creativity was useful and would have had more of an impact if he didn't have to hold Canos' hand."
Brighton - Neal Maupay (8/10) vs Watford
What we said: "Brought a save from Foster with a decent strike from range. Opened the scoring with a terrific finish, hooking in Lamptey's cross on the half-volley."
Burnley - Josh Brownhill (8/10) vs Liverpool
What we said: "The standout for Burnley in midfield, constantly releasing the ball early to spring his side in behind Liverpool's rearguard."
Crystal Palace - Vicente Guaita (8/10) vs Brentford
What we said: "Swept up well and was equal to everything thrown at him."
Everton - Anthony Gordon (8/10) vs Leeds United
What we said: "Royally fired up from the off, Gordon was a menace throughout, only breaking out of his fierce concentration to have a chuckle at the news that Richarlison's strike would be credited to him."
Leeds - Rodrigo (7/10) vs Everton
What we said: "Offering one of Leeds' brightest sparks going forward when sporadically picked out between the lines. Denied twice by the crossbar."
Leicester City - Harvey Barnes (8/10) vs West Ham
What we said: "Followed a quiet first half with a scintillating second, causing Vladimir Coufal all sorts of problems and getting the assist for Pereira."
Liverpool - Trent Alexander-Arnold (9/10) vs Burnley
What we said: "As usual, his set-piece deliveries were on the money and he looked Liverpool's biggest creative threat from open play."
Manchester City - Raheem Sterling (9/10) vs Norwich City
What we said: "Opened the scoring with a terrific strike, curling into the top corner. In the right place at the right time to grab his second and got his treble on the rebound from his penalty. Found plenty of space out wide and was electric all evening."
Manchester United - Jadon Sancho (8/10) vs Southampton
What we said: "Rewarded with a fine first-half showing with his first United goal at Old Trafford. Showed great pace, intent and flair on the counter attack."
Newcastle United - Dan Burn (8/10) vs Aston Villa
What we said: "Very solid, excellent home debut for the local lad."
Norwich City - Angus Gunn (6/10) vs Manchester City
What we said: "Good save to stop Sterling but couldn't deny him the second time. Powerless in the face of City's attacking riches. Saved Sterling's penalty but the rebound went in."
Southampton - Che Adams (8/10) vs Manchester United
What we said: "Worked tirelessly hard up front, as you'd expect, both centrally and in the channels. Took his goal superbly and was man of the match."
Tottenham Hotspur - Rodrigo Bentancur (5/10) vs Wolves
What we said: "Wasn't always successful but at least he tried to break Wolves down."
Watford - Emmanuel Dennis (6/10) vs Brighton
What we said: "Provided Watford's first attacking moment of note, charging down the left before being fouled by Dunk. Booked for catching Lamptey on the ankle."
West Ham United - Jarrod Bowen (8/10) vs Leicester City
What we said: "Took a very early knock but recovered and oozed confidence as he fired his side ahead ten minutes in. Faded after the break barring some flashes of class, but did get the late assist."
Wolves - Romain Saiss (8/10) vs Tottenham Hotspur
What we said: "Made a few key tackles and recoveries, squashing Lucas."
