The WSL is back following November's international break, and kicks off on Saturday afternoon with Everton versus Manchester City at Walton Hall Park.

City went into the international break on a fine run of form, winning four league matches on the bounce following their difficult start to the season.

They face an Everton side who have impressed so far under Brian Sorensen, but are yet to take points off any of the WSL's 'big four'.

Everton team news

Nicoline Sorensen remains an absentee for Everton as she continues her recovery from an ACL injury. The forward is back in training, but not yet ready to return to the match day squad. Katrine Veje is also unavailable, while Jess Park cannot feature against her parent club.

Man City team news

Lauren Hemp was forced to withdraw from England's November squad due to a minor thigh injury, and she will be monitored over the coming 24 hours to determine her availability for Saturday's fixture.

Everton vs Man City score prediction

Everton look like a team one more following Brian Sorensen's appointment this summer, but have lost two from two against the WSL's 'big four' this term. The loss of Jess Park - one of their most impressive performers this term - is also a blow.

City had really hit their stride prior to the November international break, with Bunny Shaw and Lauren Hemp, who won October's PFA Vertu Motors WSL Fans' Player of the Month, in particularly devastating form. It will be tight, but City should come out on top on Saturday.

Prediction: Everton 1-2 Man City
