Everton bring an end to a disappointing season as they travel to Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.
While the 2021/22 campaign has been one to truly forget for the Toffees, the overriding emotion on Thursday night was undoubtedly elation after Dominic Calvert-Lewin's late header sealed a comeback win against Crystal Palace to secure Premier League survival with one game to spare.
With nothing left to play for, Frank Lampard's men now take on an Arsenal side with the slimmest of chances of achieving a top-four finish on the final day.
1. Everton predicted lineup vs Arsenal (3-4-3)
GK: Jordan Pickford - The Everton number one is set for his 36th and final Premier League appearance of the campaign.
CB: Jarrad Branthwaite - Having served a one-match ban, the defender could be set to return to the side.
CB: Michael Keane - Got the ball rolling for the comeback victory in midweek and will certainly retain his place.
CB: Ben Godfrey - Returned as an unused substitute last time out but could be ready to claim back his starting spot in the back line.
RWB: Alex Iwobi - Seems to be a more effective worker from central positions but, even so, will likely retain his place on the right flank.
CM: Abdoulaye Doucoure - Can probably claim to be one of his side's best performers this season - although that's nothing to shout about.
CM: Dele Alli - Deserves a first start in Everton colours having enjoyed a brilliant cameo after replacing the woeful Andre Gomes on Thursday.
LWB: Vitaliy Mykolenko - The young full-back has been a reliable performer in wretched circumstances since his January arrival
RF: Demarai Gray - Has enjoyed impressive spells throughout the season and should return to the starting XI after Thursday's assist off the bench.
ST: Dominic Calvert-Lewin - It's been a difficult season for the front man but it would have felt oh so sweet to be the hero last time out.
LF: Richarlison - A splendid second-half showing against Palace will have inevitably made his place safe.
