The draw for the 2021/22 Europa League group stage has been completed with Rangers, Celtic, Leicester City and West Ham among those discovering their fates.

The Hammers have secured a favourable draw being drawn in Group H alongside Dinamo Zagreb, Genk and Rapid Wien. Celtic have a trickier task as they will be facing off against Bayer Leverkusen, Real Betis and Ferencvaros in Group G.

Rangers were drawn in Group A with Lyon, Sparta Prague and Brondby, while Leicester were placed in Group C alongside Napoli, Spartak Moscow and Legia Warsaw.

Matchday 1 of the group stages will be played on Thursday 16 September, with the final matchday scheduled for 9 December. The two-legged knockout round play-offs will then be contested in February, the round of 16 in March and quarter and semi finals in April. The final, which is being played at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in Seville, will follow on 18 May.

The current holders of the Europa League are Villarreal, who defeated Manchester United in last season’s final.
