In what is certainly the biggest fixture of Friday's qualifiers, whoever wins this game will be in great stead to win Group B and secure quick passage to the tournament in Germany that kicks off next year. Some great players will be on show, although an illness has decimated the Dutch camp.

Sven Botman, Cody Gakpo and Frenkie de Jong have all left the camp with illness, as well as Joey Veerman and Bart Verbruggen, boosting chances of a French victory.

As is the case whenever Gibraltar enters any qualification campaign, they are serious underdogs. Greece may have their work cut out as well, but they should get off the mark with three points here.

Group E

Czech Republic vs Poland

This is one of the much weaker-looking groups with the Czech Republic and Poland battling with Albania, Moldova and the Faroe Islands. These two teams will both think they have a great chance to top the group. Poland will feel they are certainly the best placed to win the group and make it to Germany.

Moldova vs Faroe Islands

Very much two minnows of the European football world, it is not expected that either of these sides will really be able to trouble the top of the group. They will likely find themselves battling to avoid being the team at the bottom of the group come the end of the campaign.

Sweden vs Belgium

The most interesting game after the France vs Netherlands clash, Belgium have got work to do following the 2022 World Cup. They were dumped out in the group stage there and now Domenico Tedesco is in charge.

Sweden will be a very tough test and after missing out on the World Cup, they will be desperate to get a spot at Euro 2024.

  • Stadium: Friends Arena
  • Date: Friday 24 March

Austria vs Azerbaijan

Austria have got a decent shot to grab second place in this group behind a Belgium side that will presumably be much better than it was in Qatar. The Austrians will first need to get the better of Azerbaijan who could end up at the bottom of the group.

  • Stadium: Waldstadion
  • Date: Friday 24 March
  • Kick-off Time: 19:45 GMT / 15:45 ET / 12:45 PT

Group G

Bulgaria vs Montenegro

This is another very open-looking group containing Bulgaria, Montenegro, Hungary, Lithuania and Serbia. Both Bulgaria and Montenegro will think that they have a great chance of coming second if Serbia find form, so this is a very big game from the off.

  • Location: Razgrad, Bulgaria
  • Stadium: Ludogorets Arena
  • Date: Friday 24 March
  • Kick-off Time: 17:00 GMT / 13:00 ET / 10:00 PT

Serbia vs Lithuania

Serbia have got a really good generation of players at the moment and while they did not hit the expected heights during the 2022 Qatar World Cup, they will back themselves to finish at the top of this group and a win against Lithuania would set the tone nicely.

  • Location: Belgrade, Serbia
  • Stadium: Red Star Stadium
  • Date: Friday 24 March
  • Kick-off Time: 19:45 GMT / 15:45 ET / 12:45 PT
