England's preparations for Euro 2022 go up a notch on Thursday evening as the Lionesses face Belgium at Molineux in their first pre-tournament friendly.

Sarina Wiegman named her final 23-player squad on Wednesday ahead of this summer's tournament, which gets underway in under three weeks time.

For their maiden pre-Euros friendly, the Lionesses return to the scene of February's Arnold Clark Cup triumph to take on a Belgium side preparing for their second ever European Championship.

England vs Belgium team news

England cut five players from their 28-player provisional squad on Wednesday - Sandy MacIver, Steph Houghton, Niamh Charles, Katie Zelem and Lucy Staniforth - and they will play no further part in the Lionesses' Euros preparations.

In the 23-player squad, Jess Carter is the only doubt heading into Thursday evening's fixture. Chloe Kelly could feature for the first time under Sarina Wiegman, having battled back from 11 months out with an ACL rupture to be selected for the European Championship.

England vs Belgium predicted lineups

England (4-3-3): Earps; Bronze, Bright, Greenwood, Stokes; Walsh, Williamson, Toone; Mead, White, Hemp

England vs Belgium score prediction

England are currently unbeaten under Sarina Wiegman and will be expected to maintain this record against a Belgium side ranked 20th in the world.

Belgium will ask plenty of questions of the Lionesses, with forward Tine De Caigny - the top scorer in Euro 2022 qualifying - presenting their biggest goal threat. However, an England win to kickstart their pre-Euros friendlies seems the most likely outcome.

Prediction: England 3-1 Belgium
