England can further strengthen their hopes of reaching Euro 2024 with victory against North Macedonia on Monday evening.

Gareth Southgate's side cruised to a 4-0 win at Malta on Friday, ensuring they maintained their 100% start to qualifying group C.

The Three Lions have Germany 2024 in their sights but they can't quite punch their ticket just yet.

Here's how they could line up to try and secure a first ever home win against North Macedonia.

England predicted lineup vs North Macedonia

GK: Jordan Pickford - Faced zero shots on Friday night in Malta. It would be hard for Pickford to have an even quieter game here.

RB: Kyle Walker - Expected to come in for Kieran Trippier, who played 90 minutes on Friday. 90min understands the right-back is in talks with Bayern Munich over a summer move.

CB: John Stones - Another of the Manchester City contingent likely to be recalled, Stones will play a slightly unfamiliar role of *checks notes* his natural position at centre-back.

CB: Harry Maguire - It'll be nice for Maguire to actually start a game at Old Trafford for once.

LB: Luke Shaw - Due to a shortage of left-backs in the England squad, Shaw is in line to start again. He was given a rest during the second half in Malta, with Tyrone Mings replacing him.

CM: Declan Rice - If this round of fixtures had been reversed then it's more likely Kalvin Phillips would be in line for a start. But North Macedonia are a bigger threat than Malta and so Rice should continue.

CM: Trent Alexander-Arnold - Player of the match out in Malta, reinvigorated by a new midfield role which sees him don the number ten shirt. What a world.

CM: Jordan Henderson - A similar situation to Rice's in that Southgate will only take Henderson out for this fixture if he's feeling particularly daring.

RW: Phil Foden - Though Bukayo Saka's half-time withdrawal at Malta with an ankle problem was only precautionary, it's unlikely that he'll be risked here, meaning Foden should be handed a start.

CF: Harry Kane - Scored a record 50th competitive goal for England in Friday's win. They just keep on tumbling.

LW: Marcus Rashford - Didn't start in Malta due to a minor injury, but his use off the bench suggested he should be ready to go from the off on Monday.
