Edwin van der Sar: Former Man Utd goalkeeper remains in intensive care

Former Manchester United, Ajax and Netherlands goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar remains in intensive care following a bleed on his brain.
The 52-year-old was taken by helicopter to a Croatian hospital on Friday, with the severity of his condition confirmed by his most recent employers, Ajax.
The Dutch giants have issued a fresh statement from Van der Sar's family which confirms the legendary stopper's condition is "stable but still concerning" and that he "will remain in intensive care for the time being".
The statement added: "The Van der Sar family, along with Ajax, is grateful and deeply touched by the many messages of support."
Van der Sar recently resigned from his role as Ajax chief's executive, and has previously been linked with a similar position at Manchester United.
His departure was unexpected but not entirely surprising given the club missed out on Champions League qualification for the first time since 2009. They finished third in the Eredivisie, behind Feyenoord and PSV Eindhoven, in what was the club's first season since Erik ten Hag's departure.
"I am very grateful for the people I have met and worked with during my second career at Ajax, and what we have achieved and been through together. I feel the need to take some distance, to get some rest, and to do other things," Van der Sar said after stepping down.
"It doesn’t feel good to take decisions about the future of this wonderful club in the coming period. That is why I have decided to resign."
Capped 130 times by the Netherlands, Van der Sar is best remembered for his association with United, who he made 266 appearances for. His performances in goal helped the club win four Premier League titles and the 2008 Champions League - Van der Sar saved Nicolas Anelka's sudden death penalty in a rainy shootout in Moscow.
Fulham and Juventus are Van der Sar's other former clubs, with team-mates and a number of prominent figures within the footballing world sending messages of support.
