EA Sports FC 24: Top rated Serie A players

Fans have been patiently awaiting a landmark new football video game which will go by the name of EA Sports FC 24, rather than FIFA 24 after a change in direction was announced by EA.
All of the world's best players and many more will be featured in the game and a host of them are those who ply their trade in Serie A.
While there has been immense entertainment in Serie A recently with four different league winners in four seasons, it is not a league currently associated with the absolute best players in world football.
Some exciting stars remain, however, so let's see which ones have made it as the best Serie A players on EA Sports FC 24.
Top rated Serie A players in EA Sports FC 24
There was a major focus on the stars of Serie A during the 2022/23 season because of the incredible form shown by Italian clubs in the European competitions.
Napoli reached the Champions League quarter-finals, AC Milan reached the semi-finals and Inter made it all the way to the final, whilst AS Roma were in the Europa League final and Fiorentina reached the Europa Conference League final. They may have all lost but they were there.
A year like that leads to major changes in the rankings, and there is a change at the top. AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan has ceded top spot to Napoli's Victor Osimhen who now has a rating of 88. The Nigerian was not even in the top 23 in the FIFA 23 game.
Maignan's rating has gone up by one to 87 but that is only good enough for second. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is another major climber as he was nowhere near the top in FIFA 23 but he is now the eighth-best player with a rating of 86. That is level with Rafael Leao, a player who has also seen great improvement and was regularly compared directly with Kvaratskhelia last season.
Despite a truncated season, Paulo Dybala (86) remains Roma's best offering, whilst Inter's midfield looks strong with Nicolo Barella (86) and Hakan Calhanoglu (85). The highest-rated defensive player in Serie A is Napoli's Giovanni Di Lorenzo (85) who had a wonderful 2022/23 at right-back. English duo Chris Smalling and Fikayo Tomori are both on a rating of 84.
Sassuolo's Domenico Berardi (85) remains the best player in Serie A outside of the traditional big six teams.
