Barcelona will head into Tuesday's meeting with Dynamo Kyiv knowing anything less than a victory could be fatal to their chances of qualifying for the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Now under the watchful eye of Sergi Barjuan, Barcelona find themselves third in Group E, six points adrift of leaders Bayern Munich and one behind Benfica.

They secured a 1-0 win over these opponents when they met a few weeks ago, but Barcelona have been anything but convincing this season and slumped to a 1-1 draw with Alaves in their first game of the post-Ronald Koeman era, so a new manager bounce doesn't appear to be coming any time soon.

Here's all you need to know about this one.

Barcelona might have had their struggles with injuries, but Dynamo are enduring a crisis of their own. In attack, Artem Besedin, Vladyslav Kulach, Ibrahim Kargbo and Vladyslav Supryaga are all out injured, so manager Mircea Lucescu has some juggling to do when it comes to finding a starting striker.

Elsewhere, centre-back Denis Popov and left-back Vitaly Mykolenko are both set to miss out through injury.

Barjuan will be without striker Sergio Aguero, who will miss three months of action with his heart condition.

That's the latest in a long line of issues for Barcelona. Martin Braithwaite (knee), Ronald Araujo (hamstring), Pedri (hamstring), Sergi Roberto (muscle) and Gerard Pique (calf) have all been left out of the squad, but a few players have made it back in time.

Ronald Araujo, Frenkie de Jong, Ousmane Dembele and Ansu Fati have all been named in the squad, but whether any will be ready to start this game remains to be seen.

Dynamo Kyiv vs Barcelona head-to-head record

These two met towards the middle of October, with Barcelona emerging with a 1-0 win thanks to a goal from Koeman's favourite striker, Gerard Pique.

That win was Barcelona's fifth on the bounce against Dynamo - a winning streak that stretches back to late 2009.

Dynamo's last win in this fixture came in late 1997, when they rocked up to Camp Nou and put four unanswered goals past a side which featured current interim boss Barjuan, who just so happened to be sent off for two yellow cards in that game.

Dynamo Kyiv vs Barcelona score prediction

As we saw against Alaves, Koeman's departure hasn't exactly fixed Barcelona, who are still just as meh as they were before the Dutchman left.

Are they better than Dynamo? Yeah, absolutely. Unfortunately, that means absolutely nothing with this Barcelona side, who could easily thump Dynamo or get thumped themselves.

The returns of De Jong, Araujo, Dembele and Fati should go a long way to making Barcelona somewhat fun again, and if those players are as healthy as suggested, then they should be able to steer the Blaugrana to victory.

Prediction: Dynamo Kyiv 0-1 Barcelona
