A week removed from their 3-0 Scottish Cup triumph over Dundee, Rangers will return to Dens Park as they look to close the gap on league leaders Celtic in the Scottish Premiership.

Dundee team news

Dundee will hope Charlie Adam is available for selection as the former Liverpool midfielder continues to battle a muscle problem.

Cillian Sheridan has been ruled out for the rest of the season, while Harrison Sharp is expected to continue between the posts with Adam Legzdins injured.

Rangers team news

Aaron Ramsey could be in line for just his third Rangers start after the Welshman impressed in last weekend's Scottish Cup win against Dundee.

Steven Davis could also be available for selection in midfield, although the Northern Ireland captain has started just one league game since van Bronckhorst arrived.

Dundee vs Rangers score prediction

Every game is just as important as the last at Rangers and, after the highs of their Europa League progression in midweek, they will need to temper their emotions for a win-at-all-costs league clash.

Dundee are marooned at the foot of the table and are yet to taste victory under new boss Mark McGhee, barely putting up a fight in last weekend's Scottish Cup defeat to the Gers.

But for Rangers, with a mammoth month of April which includes three Old Firm clashes ahead, winning is the only option.

Prediction: Dundee 0-2 Rangers
