Argentinian icon Diego Maradona will undergo immediate brain surgery after scans revealed a bleed on the brain.
The 60-year-old was admitted to hospital in La Plata, Argentina, on Monday after feeling 'anaemic and dehydrated', with doctor Leopoldo Luque saying at the time that Maradona's physical health was impacted because he was 'not well psychologically'.

His condition wasn't initially thought to be sinister, with coronavirus ruled out of the equation, but Argentinian news outlet TyC sports have since reported that a subdural hematoma was detected during a CT scan on Tuesday, meaning Maradona will undergo brain surgery.
Thus, he's being transferred to a clinic in Olivos for the operation, which could last for up to six hours.
It's a horrible turn of events just hours after Dr. Luque had said: "He's better than yesterday, the idea is for him to stay [in hospital] one more day. He's anaemic and a little dehydrated.
"We want to improve his condition as much as possible, and we need a little more time for that," he said to reporters outside the Ipensa clinic.

"Because he sees himself better, he wants to leave.
"I asked him to hang on. He had a good night and is in a good mood. We were joking around and we walked a bit inside the clinic. He's evolving as we expected," he added.
Maradona, who currently coaches Primera Division outfit Gimnasia de La Plata, was last publicly seen being carried out of the stadium after overseeing his side's clash with Patronato last Friday - his 60th birthday.
The Argentine's latest health scare is just one of several he's endured over the years.

In 2005 he underwent a gastric bypass surgery to help in his battle with weight, before undergoing the same procedure again in 2015.
He was also admitted to hospital in January 2019 with internal bleeding in the stomach.
The football world will be hoping he makes a swift recovery.
