Denmark and Spain will battle in what is essentially a play-off to reach the quarter-finals of Euro 2022.

The two red nations have accumulated three points from their opening two games in Group B, with both beating Finland but falling to Germany.

La Roja are currently second in the table by virtue of goal difference and can secure qualification with a point, meaning the Danes will have to take all three to secure their passage to the knockout stages instead.

Here's everything you need to know ahead of this one.

Where is the match being played? Brentford Community Stadium, London

Denmark team news

Head coach Lars Sondegaard made three changes from Denmark's opening defeat when they beat Finland earlier this week, opting to freshen up at wing-back and bring legendary forward Nadia Nadim into the starting XI.

He could rotate wing-backs again, though Sara Thrige and Janni Thomsen were both impressive after coming into the lineup and should deservedly keep their places.

Teenage midfielder Kathrine Moller Kuhl is available for selection again after serving her suspension last time out. The Nordsjælland starlet was sent off in the dying embers of their loss to Germany, but her obvious talent and fresh legs could see her land a starting spot.

Spain team news

Spain's chances of winning Euro 2022 were rocked by injuries to Jenni Hermoso and Alexia Putellas pre-tournament and clearly missed their influence in their defeat to Germany.

Jorge Vilda made four changes from their opening win against Finland last time out and could shake things up again to try and reinstall their winning formula.

Denmark vs Spain predicted lineups

Denmark (3-4-3): Christensen; Veje, Ballisager, Sevecke; Thrige, Junge, Kuhl, Thomsen; Madsen, Harder, Bruun.

Spain (4-3-3): Panos; Batlle, Paredes, Mapi Leon, Ouahabi; Guijarro, Guerrero; Bonmati; L García, Gonzalez, Caldentey.

Denmark vs Spain prediction

Spain came into Euro 2022 as one of the favourites, though their lack of big game experience at tournaments will have played as much a part of their dismal defeat to Germany as much as the absences of Hermoso and Putellas.

That said, they still have plenty of quality and it would be a sizeable shock if they don't qualify from the group, particularly when they only need to avoid defeat on Saturday.

Denmark are no slouches but they only just about clung on against Finland. It's not an impossible task, but rather an improbable one for the Danes.

Score prediction: Denmark 1-2 Spain
