Demba Ba has accused PSG manager Thomas Tuchel of blaming Istanbul Basaksehir players for the racial abuse incident that unfolded during the pair's Champions League clash in December.

The match was abandoned in the 14th minute when fourth official Sebastian Coltescu was accused of using a racist term to describe Basaksehir assistant manager Pierre Webo, resulting in players from both sides walking off the pitch in protest.

The game was completed the following day with a new team of officials, and PSG ran out 5-1 winners.

“Some of the elements of Paris – or I would say one element of Paris – I wish he’d [Tuchel] been in front of camera and explained how he treated us," the forward told TRT World.

"Because I don’t accept this and I will never accept it, and the next time I see him, he will hear about it. But hats off to these people.

“He [Tuchel] had a discussion with one or two players on our team and [was] basically blaming us for what happened. So, that’s his problem. That’s not mine. And this is not something I will share on camera. But if I have to see him one day, I will share with him.”

Ba was heavily involved in the touchline row that erupted prior to the walk off, confronting the fourth official about his use of language. The former Chelsea forward praised the solidarity demonstrated by the two separate teams to make a stand against racism.

"Hats off to the players of Basaksehir because they felt also that something to be made," Ba added. "Hats off to players of Paris St Germain because they could have stayed on the field and said, ‘No, we are here to play. They are not here, so they either come out or we win this game’. But they decided to stop."
