Danny Mills Advises Neco Williams to Seek Loan Move Away From Liverpool

Former Leeds United full-back Danny Mills has urged Liverpool youth star Neco Williams to leave the club on loan next season, to seek more first-team opportunities.
Williams has made 10 appearances in all competitions for the first-team this season, but earned his first Premier League start for the club in their 3-1 win away at Brighton last weekend.
However, with Liverpool's starting full back options among some of the strongest in the league, it has been suggested that Williams may need to head elsewhere in order to continue his development.
The 19-year-old operates primarily at right back, a position nailed down by Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is only 21 himself. And speaking to Football Insider, Mills - who also played for Manchester City- stated that Williams needs to be 'realistic' about his options next season.
"It is the club that he loves but is he going to play week in, week out? How many opportunities is he going to get? He could sit on the bench and play at Liverpool which might be his dream or will he go and play regular football"," Mills said.
“I would suggest that a season-long loan would be the best thing to start with. Go out and prove your worth. If he has a really good season then reassess".
Williams has been with Liverpool since the age of six and has impressed at all age groups. He's made eight appearances so far for Wales' Under-19s, catching the eye of national team manager Ryan Giggs.
Despite Williams' talent and the rave reviews he's received this season, it's unlikely that he'll break into the Reds' starting XI with Alexander-Arnold in front of him. The England international has been crucial to Liverpool's Premier League title-winning form, appearing in every league game so far this season and providing 12 assists.
