Dani Carvajal has admitted he has never seen anyone take to life at Real Madrid as effortlessly as Jude Bellingham.

Bellingham has taken Madrid by storm since his move from Borussia Dortmund for an initial £88.5m, racking up five goals and one assist in his first four La Liga games to firmly establish himself as the team's new talisman.

"From the first moment, [the whole squad] looked at each other and saw that he knew what he was doing," Carvajal said on Universo Valdano (via Marca). "He is a very complete player.

"He moves to both sides, he can finish, he uses both legs. You give him the ball and he is able to understand you with a glance with his teammates. This is very important."

In a recent interview with Relevo, Carvajal confessed Bellingham's transition to Madrid superstar has blown him away.

"I wasn't here when Cristiano Ronaldo or Sergio Ramos first came to the club, but since I've been here, I've never seen such an adaptation," he said. "Not only in sporting terms is he putting in great performances, but also in the dressing room and with his relationship with teammates.

"He's a player who comes with a lot of pressure, has cost a lot of money and all the spotlight is on him. From the very first moment, he's been chatting with his teammates, talking to one and then another, laughing and joking.

"He trains and stays late to work. He's a fantastic guy and I think he's landed on his feet."
