Manchester City could go one step closer to being crowned champions of England with a win over Crystal Palace in Saturday's lunchtime fixture in the Premier League.

A win ensures they would need just three more points to mathematically claim the title, meaning if Man Utd lose on Sunday they will be champions. But with a huge Champions League semi-final second leg against PSG to come, Pep Guardiola could rotate the team to keep key players fresh.

Palace will be looking to keep the champagne on ice another week longer, but with just one win in their last seven league games the form book is against them heading into this one.

Here is 90min's preview of the game.

City have a fully fit squad to choose from other than the suspended John Stones, but Guardiola will almost certainly rotate with the second leg against PSG coming up in midweek.

With such a strong squad, the likes of Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Jesus, Ferran Torres, Aymeric Laporte and Nathan Ake could all come into the starting lineup.

Crystal Palace vs Manchester City prediction

Even though Guardiola is likely to chop and change his team, Palace haven't been able to put up a fight in recent weeks and City should have more than enough to put them to the sword.

Sterling has an excellent record against the south London side with six goals and one assist in his last seven games - and he has a point to prove after struggling hugely this season and losing his place in the team.

Palace don't really have anything to play for at this point in the season and with the added incentive of being crowned champions sooner rather than later on the table for City, they should be hungrier than ever and come out of the gates firing to earn a comfortable win.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 0-3 Manchester City
