Crystal Palace are confident they can convince Wilfried Zaha to remain at Selhurst Park beyond this season, 90min understands.

Zaha has spent nearly his entire career with Palace, aside from a short-lived spell with Manchester United, but is approaching the final month of his current contract and has received plenty of interest from both England and mainland Europe.

The Ivory Coast international has never hidden his desire to play in the Champions League and could get that with a move to Ligue 1 side Marseille, while Saudi Arabia's Al-Ittihad are understood to have lodged an offer.

In England, Arsenal and Chelsea are both long-term admirers of Zaha but neither have made firm offers to the 30-year-old, who is now considering staying with Palace.

Indeed, sources have confirmed to 90min that Palace are growing in confidence that their efforts to retain Zaha will lead to an agreement over a contract extension which could be worth close to £200,000 per week.

Palace have enjoyed a sensational resurgence following the return of Roy Hodgson to the Selhurst Park dugout and have climbed their way up to 12th in the Premier League, comfortably steering themselves away from a relegation battle with a run of five wins and a draw in their last eight games.

Among the stars of Palace's recent run have been Michael Olise and Ebere Eze. The former leads Palace's assist charts with ten, while Eze is the team's top scorer and reached double figures with his double in the 2-0 win over Bournemouth.

Palace officials have started work on new contracts for both Olise and Eze who, alongside Zaha, are seen as cornerstones of the team, and there is hope that Zaha's potential extension would persuade both to commit their futures to the Eagles.
