Crystal Palace came from behind to beat Leeds United in a hotly contested Premier League game at Selhurst Park on Sunday.

Goals from Odsonne Edouard and Eberechi Eze cancelled out an early Pascal Struijk strike to earn Palace all three points and move them up to 15th in the table.

The visitors hit the ground running at Selhurst Park and deservedly took an early lead through Pascal Struijk. The full-back latched onto a loose penalty in the penalty area after Brenden Aaronson rounded three Palace players and hit the post.

Leeds continued their dominance thereafter, with Palace really struggle to retain possession or threaten in the final third. Jesse Marsch's side could have been two goals to the good in the 20th minute when Patrick Bamford was played through on goal by Tyler Adams. The English forward was unable to beat Vicente Guaita with his subsequent strike on goal however.

Bamford and Leeds were made to pay for that miss a few minutes later, when former Celtic man Odsonne Edouard grabbed an equaliser. The forward volleyed home from a wonderful set piece delivery from Michael Olise to make it 1-1 against the run of play.

Palace upped their game at the start of the second half and began to knock the ball around with much more confidence.

The home side came close to taking the lead in the 55th minute after some neat interplay in and around the penalty area led to Jordan Ayew finding himself through on goal. His effort on goal however was blocked by Liam Cooper, who had brilliantly tracked back to prevent a goal.

Patrick Vieira's men eventually did get their second goal in the 75th minute through Eberechi Eze. After latching onto a nice backheel from Wilfried Zaha, the young forward flicked the ball past one Leeds defender on the edge of the box before drilling into the bottom left corner of the net.
