Christophe Galtier has warned Kylian Mbappe that he isn't bigger than PSG and has no more influence at the club than any other player.

Mbappe opted to remain at PSG rather than join Real Madrid in the summer but has been far from happy at the French club since, reportedly displeased with the transfer business they've done and with the position he's being played in.

Galtier has promised to try and bring in the out-and-out striker that Mbappe wants to play alongside amid suggestions that a condition for the Frenchman staying was that he gets a considerable say in how the club operates.

However, the manager says that isn't the case and that the 23-year-old has no more power in that department than any other player.

"It's wrong," he told RMC.

“He embodies the project, there can be no doubt, but when I say that he embodies the project, it is not that he is above the club.

"Kylian is at the same level as all the other players. On the same level as Leo Messi who has had an incredible career, who is the greatest player in the history of football. Kylian is on the same level as Neymar."

Mbappe reportedly wants to play in one of the deeper positions filled by Lionel Messi and Neymar rather than be the team's striker, but one of them would have to leave for him to get his wish.

That's very much possible though with Messi being linked with a return to Barcelona.
