Christian Eriksen has been pictured for the first in public since suffering a cardiac arrest during Denmark's Euro 2020 group game against Finland.
Eriksen suddenly collapsed during the first half and was given emergency treatment on the pitch, before being rushed to hospital. Two weeks ago he was discharged after undergoing surgery to fit an implantable cardioverter defibrillator to protect against future heart problems.
Since being discharged updates on Eriksen's recovering have been few and far between. However, on Saturday a young fan posted a picture on Instagram of the Inter midfielder out and about. The photograph was taken in Tisvilde, a former fishing village which is now one of Denmark's most coveted tourist hotspots.
Since the Eriksen incident, the Red and White have done their teammate proud. After securing a dramatic 4-1 win over Russia in their final group game to secure progression to the knockout stages, they romped to a 4-0 victory against Wales in the round of 16.
Another extremely impressive 2-1 triumph over Czech Republic followed, setting up a mouthwatering semi-final meeting with England on Wednesday. Denmark have been extremely impressive and will now be targeting a repeat of their shock European Championship win in 1992.
Several Danish players will be familiar with the England squad owing to their time playing in the Premier League. Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, Chelsea's Andreas Christensen and Tottenham ever-present Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg are just three of the seven Danes who ply their trade in the country.
Should Denmark get past England a meeting with Spain or Italy awaits them in Sunday's final. That game will also be taking place at Wembley and the Three Lions will be desperate to get there and take full advantage of a raucous home crowd.
