Chelsea and Norwich City will butt heads in the early kick-off of Saturday afternoon's Premier League action.

17 points separate the two, who sit top and bottom of the table respectively, so Thomas Tuchel's men will come into this one as immense favourites, especially since they rediscovered some of their mojo in the midweek mauling of Malmo.

Norwich, on the other hand, are yet to pick up a win this season but have looked better than usual in the last few weeks, securing consecutive goalless draws with Burnley and Brighton.

Here's all you need to know about this one.

Chelsea team news

Tuchel is expecting to be without both Romelu Lukaku (ankle) and Timo Werner (hamstring) after the pair limped off against Malmo, so that duo will join Christian Pulisic on the sidelines.

Expect Kai Havertz to start up top, with Callum Hudson-Odoi potentially set to benefit as well as more minutes on Werner's left wing are now up for grabs.

Despite supposedly recovering from an Achilles injury, Todd Cantwell was not spotted in training in the early stages of training on Thursday morning and appears to be a real doubt for this one.

Mathias Normann, who limped off last time out against Brighton, took part in a light session, as did long-term absentees Sam Byram and Przemek Placheta, but Christoph Zimmermann remains out while he ponders having ankle surgery.

Billy Gilmour is ineligible to face his parent club.

Chelsea vs Norwich predicted lineups

Chelsea: Mendy; Azpilicueta, Christensen, Rudiger; James, Kante, Loftus-Cheek, Chilwell; Mount, Hudson-Odoi; Havertz.

Norwich: Krul; Kabak, Gibson, Hanley; Aarons, Lees-Melou, McLean, Rupp, Giannoulis; Pukki, Sargent.

Chelsea vs Norwich head-to-head record

Chelsea haven't tasted defeat against Norwich since December 1994 and are currently on a run of 17 games without a loss against the Canaries.

It was against Norwich in 2019/20 that Frank Lampard picked up his first win as Chelsea boss, with a double from Tammy Abraham and a fine strike from Mason Mount securing a nervy 3-2 victory early in the season, before the Blues ran out 1-0 winners towards the end of the campaign.

Only ten Norwich players were even alive the last time Norwich won at Stamford Bridge - a 2-1 triumph back in October 1993.

Norwich have been steadily improving recently, but the reigning European champions will surely be far too great of a step-up in quality for Daniel Farke's struggling side.

Missing Lukaku and Werner is obviously not ideal for Chelsea, but being able to bring in Havertz and Hudson-Odoi is testament to their impressive squad depth, and the pair will be full of confidence after combining for a goal against Malmo.

Chelsea should be far too strong at the back, and they'll fancy their chances of grabbing a handful of goals here.

Prediction: Chelsea 3-0 Norwich
