Chelsea and Manchester City are both vying to complete a domestic double as the pair go head to head in the 2022 Women's FA Cup final on Sunday in front of a potentially record breaking Wembley crowd.

Fresh from being crowned WSL champions, Chelsea head to Wembley looking to defend their crown, after a Sam Kerr and Fran Kirby masterclass saw them to victory in the previous season's showpiece final in December.

City have already got the better of Chelsea in a cup final this term, turning in an electric second half performance to storm to victory in the Continental Cup. Gareth Taylor's side are vying to win the competition for the third time in four years.

Chelsea vs Manchester City prediction

Chelsea and Manchester City have enjoyed a thoroughly competitive rivalry over the last six years, jostling to be the top side in England - but remarkably didn't meet in a major cup final until February this year. Three months later they're back at it again, with another pulsating encounter in store.

Chelsea will be buoyed by the presence of Erin Cuthbert, whose energy was missing massively in the Continental Cup final as the Blues let the midfield battle slip in the second half.

However, City have been in devastating form of late, winning 14 on the bounce in all competitions. Currently very little can stop them - potentially not even this esteemed Chelsea side.

Score prediction: Chelsea 1-2 Manchester City
