Old rivals Chelsea and Leeds will butt heads on Saturday, with the two sides rarely as close in the standings as they are right now.

Chelsea's disastrous form has seen them tumble down to tenth in the Premier League table, just nine points clear of Leeds in 17th.

Leeds have won just once in the Premier League since November, but that solitary victory came last month against the same Southampton side who inflicted perhaps the worst defeat of Graham Potter's Chelsea tenure just one week earlier.

Thomas Tuchel's Blues fell 3-0 at Elland Road in the early weeks of the season and Potter would love the opportunity to improve on his predecessor's performance.

Here's all you need to know about this one.

Chelsea team news

Thiago Silva is expected to miss around six weeks with the knee injury he picked up last time out against Tottenham, but his space in the squad will be filled by Cesar Azpilicueta after the Spaniard completed his concussion-enforced absence.

N'Golo Kante and Christian Pulisic are both back in training and should return to the matchday squad as substitutes for this one, although the latter could be held back another week after making a later return to training.

Armando Broja and Edouard Mendy remain out.

Chelsea predicted lineup vs Leeds

Leeds team news

Young midfielder Archie Gray returned to the matchday squad for the latest defeat to Fulham and should remain on the substitutes bench for this one.

Stuart Dallas, Rodrigo and Adam Forshaw all remain sidelined, while Pascal Struijk is fighting to recover from a head injury and Luis Sinisterra is battling a hamstring problem.

Chelsea vs Leeds score prediction

Leeds have won three times over their last 15 games in all competitions and therefore come into this one as the in-form team, such has been Potter's horrendous struggles at Chelsea.

Javi Gracia has only been in charge of two games so far, tasting one victory and one defeat. While it's hard to know what to expect from his Leeds side after a little more training, it's tough to predict anything other than a Chelsea win.

It won't be nearly as emphatic as it should be, but if you're a Chelsea fan, you'll take the ugliest of three points from this one.

Prediction: Chelsea 1-0 Leeds
