With the final weekend of the WSL fast approaching, the London derby between Arsenal and Chelsea could help to decide which team finish the league next week victorious.

FA Cup champions Chelsea host Arsenal, with Emma Hayes's side returning to the top of the table after striding to a 4-0 win over West Ham. A win this weekend would give Chelsea a much-needed three points to help solidify their race for the title, currently edging out Manchester United by one point.

While the WSL title race may be over for Arsenal, Jonas Eidevall is looking to take a point or three off the top-of-the-table team to help stake their claim for a place in the Champions League next season.

The Gunners recorded a 4-1 win over Everton last time out but the triumphant win was marred by yet another injury, this time to Lia Walti. Despite this, winning their game in hand added an all-important cushion between the North London side and Manchester City, who were closing in on a top-three finish.

Walti is unavailable after suffering an ankle injury in the Gunners' mid-week clash with Everton. The Swiss captain is expected to be out for six weeks, missing the remainder of the season.

Eidevall is also hopeful that Lina Hurtig will also be fit to feature in Sunday's clash.

Beth Mead, Vivianne Miedema, Kim Little, Leah Williamson and Laura Wienroither all remain out of contention.

Chelsea vs Arsenal score prediction

The reverse fixture ended in a comfortable 1-1 draw between the sides at the Emirates Stadium back in January. The last time these two sides met, Arsenal edged the Blues out of the Conti Cup, but since then, the Gunners have suffered numerous major injuries, removing key members of their starting XI and leaving their side a little depleted.

With Chelsea being on flying form, retaining their FA Cup title last weekend and winning their last three league games with comfortable margins, it seems Chelsea, once again, may have the upper hand.

Prediction: Chelsea 3-1 Arsenal
