AC Milan are facing a battle to keep hold of 15-year-old starlet Francesco Camarda amid transfer interest from across Europe, sources have confirmed to 90min.

The teenager was called up to Milan's senior squad to face Fiorentina in Serie A owing to the first-team's injury crisis, and came on a second half substitute to become the youngest debutant in both Milan and Serie A history.

National regulations required the Rossoneri to secure special permission from the Italian FA in order to promote Camarda, assigning him the number 73 shirt.

90min understands that Milan have promised Camarda a huge role in their future, but as he is ineligible to sign a professional contract until his 16th birthday in March, they risk losing him until then.

Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City have all made overtures to Camarda's family regarding a move to England, while Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund are also looking to snatch him from under the noses of Milan.

Sources have told 90min that Camarda's family are settled in Milan and it's likely he will put pen-to-paper on a professional deal at San Siro once he turns 16, but the club remain worried about such outside interest in his services.

Speaking ahead of Saturday's fixture, Milan manager Stefano Pioli said: "Talent has no age, and he has a lot of it.

"Destiny sometimes creates opportunities for you, we will need to be good at accompanying him in his growth because we are talking about a very young boy.

"From a character point of view Camarda is very mature, he is ready to give us a hand if needed, in these days he has done very well. I'm sure he'll have a great future."

Camarda's spot in Pioli's squad is indeed not without merit. In 13 matches for Milan's Primavera side this season, he has scored seven goals and laid on two assists, while he rose to national fame in recent years after tallying over 400 goals during his years in the club's various youth teams.
