Fresh off the back of winning the pre-season Mind Series, Chelsea will look to add another trophy to their cabinet when they jet off to Belfast to fight Villarreal for the UEFA Super Cup.

Thomas Tuchel has every member of his squad back and available, but he'll be hoping to have one new face in the dressing room. Chelsea have until 11pm on Tuesday evening to finalise the signing of Romelu Lukaku from Inter if they want him to feature.

With that deal not yet finalised, let's take a look at how Chelsea should set up.

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Edouard Mendy (GK) - Mendy has had a solid pre-season and will absolutely retain his spot as Chelsea's starter for this campaign.

Antonio Rudiger (CB) - A firm favourite of Tuchel's, Rudiger has been working hard in pre-season and looks raring to go.

Andreas Christensen (CB) - We're yet to see either Christensen or Thiago Silva this summer, so don't be surprised if those two share the minutes in this game.

Cesar Azpilicueta (CB) - Another of those in desperate need for some minutes before the new season begins, Azpilicueta could do with getting a start here and playing as close to an hour as possible.

2. Midfielders

Callum Hudson-Odoi (RM) - Hudson-Odoi has been brilliant in pre-season and deserves the chance to start this one, and he could even switch over to the left if Tuchel wants to give Reece James some game time.

N'Golo Kante (CM) - Kante has picked up right where he left off last season. He looks in fantastic shape and will undoubtedly be crucial to Chelsea's chances of victory.

Jorginho (CM) - Given Jorginho's lack of match fitness, this could well be Mateo Kovacic, but Tuchel would be wise to give the Italian the chance to build up his condition here.

Ben Chilwell (LM) - With Gerard Moreno lurking on the right of Villarreal's attack, Tuchel needs to go with a reliable defender like Chilwell over Marcos Alonso or Emerson.

Mason Mount (AM) - A vital cog in the Chelsea system, Mount enjoyed some minutes in a behind-closed-doors friendly last week and should hopefully pick up some more here.

Kai Havertz (AM) - The whole reason Chelsea are in this match in the first place, Havertz has plenty of minutes under his belt already and he should be in top condition.

3. Forward

Timo Werner (ST) - Until the Lukaku deal is done, Werner will retain his spot in the lineup, and that's not a bad thing. He's been his typically frustrating self this summer, but has still managed to contribute to a goal or two along the way.
