Burnley and Sheffield United will return to the Premier League automatically, and two of the four play-off spots have already been decided.

Luton and Middlesbrough will be competing in the play-offs alongside Coventry, who haven't mathematically secured their place but it'd take a miracle for them to drop out on the final day.

Blackburn's draw against Luton on Monday evening means four teams are vying for the final play-off spot on the final day. Millwall currently sit in sixth on 68 points, and victory for them against Blackburn on Monday will see them progress.

However, if Blackburn win away from home, Millwall will be out of contention and Rovers will then be relying on Preston to take points off Sunderland and Swansea to frustrate West Brom.

Blackburn, Sunderland, and West Brom are all on 66 points after 45 games.

Wigan and Blackpool have already succumbed to the third tier, and it's likely Reading will join them. The Royals can only catch Neil Warnock's Huddersfield, who still have two games left.

The Terriers need just a point to guarantee safety, while Reading have to beat their relegation rivals on the final day and hope Sheffield United get the job done when they face Huddersfield on Thursday night to stay up.
