CF Montreal kept their playoff hopes alive on Wednesday with a 2-0 win over Houston Dynamo.

Now, Montreal’s only way into the MLS Cup Playoffs is with a win Sunday afternoon against Orlando, any other result would keep the team out of the postseason for the first time since 2018.

The team could see the return of Mason Toye to the lineup on Sunday, who has not played since undergoing shoulder surgery in August.

CF Montreal vs Orlando City SC score prediction

Orlando City have not lost a single game this season in which they have given up one or fewer goals. In their most important match of the season, putting in a strong defensive performance should be enough to gain points and clinch a playoff spot. For Montreal, scoring is the key to victory. Their last MLS match in which they scored more than two goals was against Orlando on September 15th, but in the final match of the season with everything on the line, that is easier said than done.
