Carabao Cup third round draw: Man Utd, Arsenal, Man City, Liverpool & more learn fate

Manchester City's trip to Newcastle United is the pick of the 2023/24 Carabao Cup third round ties after the draw was made on Wednesday night.
Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United, Newcastle, Liverpool, Brighton, West Ham and Aston Villa have all had a bye to this stage on account of qualifying for European competitions.
Tottenham, seeking their first trophy since last lifting this cup back in 2008, have already crashed out after losing to Fulham on penalties in a second round tie this week.
Meanwhile, Chelsea had to come from behind to avoid embarrassment against AFC Wimbledon.
The Blues' reward for that success is a tough clash with Brighton & Hove Albion, while Brentford against Arsenal is another excitng all-Premier League tie. Manchester United face Crystal Palace.
