Brighton team news

Adam Lallana didn't last ten minutes into his second half substitute appearance against Liverpool on Saturday, limping off with a hamstring injury.

His namesake Adam Webster remains an injury doubt with Graham Potter targetting his return on the other side of March's international break.

Tottenham team news

Antonio Conte insisted he didn't "want to put pressure on the medical department" before putting pressure on his medical department when he highlighted the month-long absences of Japhet Tanganga and Oliver Skipp. Neither player is expected to feature this midweek - despite Conte's gentle efforts.

Ryan Sessegnon is also unlikely to feature for the rest of the month after picking up a muscular injury against Everton.

Brighton vs Tottenham score prediction

Brighton come into the contest on a truly rotten run of form. Anyone can (and often do) lose to Liverpool but the Seagulls have been beaten by relegation-battling Burnley and Newcastle during a five-game losing streak.

Tottenham found themselves on the losing side against Manchester United despite promising flashes. However, under Conte, Spurs have generally fared better when playing opponents willing to come out and press them - an approach Brighton have regularly employed this term.

Prediction: Brighton 1-2 Tottenham
