Graham Potter watched on in frustration as both Steven Alzate and Danny Welbeck were forced off through injury during Brighton's last outing against fierce rivals Crystal Palace.

The pair join Adam Webster on the treatment table with none of the trio likely to feature on Saturday. In better news, Yves Bissouma should return while fellow midfield dynamo Enock Mwepu is in contention to start too.

This is the only absence that Mikel Arteta has to deal with ahead of the game and with no European commitments this season, no rotation will be necessary.

Brighton vs Arsenal head-to-head record

Brighton's record against Arsenal since earning promotion to the Premier League in 2017 is better than you might think.

The Seagulls have won three of their eight previous top-flight meetings with Saturday's opponents. Arsenal have also won three - including each of the last two games between the pair.

Last time out Nicolas Pepe was the hero, grabbing a brace to give the Gunners a 2-0 win in front of 4,000 fans at the Emirates Stadium.

Brighton vs Arsenal score prediction

An underwhelming display against Palace last time out aside, Brighton have looked extremely impressive this season, defending well and also finally finding their shooting boots.

Arsenal have been much better in recent weeks though, and with a fully-rested squad they will fancy their chances of securing a fifth straight victory on the south coast.

Expect a real tactical battle which will ultimately end with the spoils being shared.

Prediction: Brighton 1-1 Arsenal
