Lyon starlet Bradley Barcola has made it clear to his club that he wants to be allowed to join Paris Saint-Germain this summer, 90min understands.

The 20-year-old winger has been looked at by a number of the game's top sides already this window. Manchester City had considered Barcola before the arrival of Jeremy Doku, while Chelsea are known to remain keen.

Chelsea are on the hunt for a new creative forward and see Barcola as an alternative target to Michael Olise, who shunned interest from the Blues in favour of signing a new contract with Crystal Palace.

90min understands Chelsea are set to be frustrated once again as Barcola has made it clear that his preferred move this summer is to PSG, who are working hard to try and get a deal over the line.

While Lyon are frustrated with Barcola's stance, they have held talks with PSG over a sale and there is a belief that an agreement will be found soon enough.

Chelsea retain interest in Barcola's Lyon teammate Rayan Cherki, also 20, but it is not clear whether the Blues will pursue a move before the transfer window closes.

Despite a hectic summer which has already seen Manuel Ugarte, Ousmane Dembele, Lucas Hernandez, Kang-in Lee, Xavi Simons, Goncalo Ramos, Marco Asensio, Milan Skriniar, Arnau Tenas and Cher Ndour move to Parc des Princes, PSG remain keen to continue bolstering their squad.

Alongside Barcola, 90min understands PSG are hopeful of finalising a deal for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani.

Talks between the two clubs are ongoing and PSG have floated the idea of using Hugo Ekitike, whose €28.5m (£24.5m) move from Stade Reims was only made official this summer, as a potential makeweight to lower Frankfurt's asking price.

Ekitike has also attracted interest from the Premier League, where Brentford, Everton and West Ham United are among the suitors for the 21-year-old.
