US men's national team captain Tyler Adams has completed his move from EFL Championship side Leeds United to Premier league club Bournemouth.

Adams has finally found his new home and joins the Cherries after his move to Chelsea fell through as they pursued other targets Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia.

The 24-year-old originally joined Leeds last summer from RB Leipzig and made 28 appearances, last playing against Brighton & Hove Albion in a 2-2 draw on March 11.

At one point, a few Americans had infiltrated Leeds, with then-head coach Jesse Marsch at the helm along with midfielders Weston McKennie on loan from Juventus, Brenden Aaronson (who joined Bundesliga side Union Berlin on loan this summer), and Adams. Now, only Aaronson remains on Leeds' wage bill.

It's a fresh start for Adams back in the Premier League, and he hopes to be back in action with his new team later this month after undergoing surgery to fix a hamstring injury back in March.

The Cherries have had a mixed bag to life in the PL in 2023/24, drawing 1-1 at home to West Ham and opening up the scoring at Anfield before being soundly defeated, 3-1, to Liverpool.

Next up for Andoni Iraola's side is Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham Hotspur on August 26 at Vitality Stadium.
