Here's all you need to know about their clash at the Allianz Arena.

Bayern boss Julian Nagelsmann is sweating over the fitness of goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, who picked up an ankle injury in the Supercup triumph and has missed training because of it.

Should he miss the game, he'll be joined on the sidelines by Benjamin Pavard (ankle), Lucas Hernandez (knee) and possibly Kingsley Coman, who picked up his own knock against Dortmund.

Unsurprisingly, the head-to-head records between these two sides are overwhelmingly in Bayern's favour.

They did the double over Koln last season, earning 5-1 and 2-1 victories, and are currently on a seven-game winning run which dates all the way back to 2017.

In fact, the last time Koln avoided defeat to Bayern was as they picked up a 1-1 draw in October 2016. That draw ended another run of six straight victories for the German champions, who haven't lost to Koln in over ten years.

It's safe to say that Bayern are heavy favourites for this one.

Nagelsmann's men haven't found their best form yet this season, but they're obviously the dominant force in German football and they can call on the sort of quality most Bundesliga teams can only dream of. They don't even need to be at their best to rack up the goals.

If Bayern can replicate the kind of form they showed against Dortmund in midweek, we could be in for a goal fest.

Prediction: Bayern Munich 4-1 Koln
