Bayern Munich's Thomas Muller tests positive for coronavirus

Bayern Munich's Thomas Muller has tested positive for coronavirus and will now undergo a period of two weeks in self-isolation.
The Germany international is currently out in Doha with the Champions League winners as they look to add the FIFA Club World Cup to their already stellar trophy haul from the last 12 months.
Hansi Flick's team are set to face Mexican side Tigres in the final of the competition on Thursday, however, they will now do so without their midfield goalscorer, after the club took to their official website to confirm he has tested positive for coronavirus.
In a statement released by Bayern, they confirmed he had immediately began a period of self-isolation upon receiving the news, and that the remainder of the squad had tested negative for the disease.
"Thomas Muller, 31, player of FC Bayern Munich, tested positive for the coronavirus in Doha and immediately isolated," the statement read. "After returning to Munich, he will immediately go into quarantine. FC Bayern coordinated with the responsible authorities.
"The entire FC Bayern team was tested again on Thursday. There were no further positive results."
With Muller now set to face a minimum of two weeks out, not only will he miss his team's bid to become Club World Cup champions, he will also miss a number of key outings for Flick's side.
The 31-year-old will miss Bayern's Bundesliga clashes against Eintracht Frankfurt and Arminia Bielefeld as Die Roten look to notch yet another top-flight German crown, while - perhaps more - worryingly he will also be absent for his side's Champions League round of 16 first leg tie against Serie A outfit Lazio.
Depending on the severity of his condition, Muller could return for Bayern's Bundesliga home game against Cologne on March 27, with their clash against Borussia Dortmund coming just a week later.
