Bayern Munich would've been pleased with last weekend's ongoings in the Bundesliga despite heavy snow postponing their clash with Union Berlin.

While Stuttgart continued their ascent towards the summit, Borussia Dortmund's draw at Bayer Leverkusen last Sunday means Bayern are now just three points adrift of Xabi Alonso's table-toppers having played a game fewer.

Their fixture against Union will now be played in January, and Bayern's mini-break allowed them to recover several injured players ahead of the weekend's trip to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Here's how Thomas Tuchel could line his Bayern side up on Saturday afternoon.

Manuel Neuer

GK: Manuel Neuer - Neuer has been a clean sheet machine since returning to the side from a long-term injury.

RB: Noussair Mazraoui - Konrad Laimer is an alternative for Tuchel at right-back, but Mazraoui's technical quality renders him a more suitable option for the role.

CB: Dayot Upamecano - Matthijs de Ligt is closing in on a return, but he'll likely be absent this weekend. Upamecano, as a result, is a sure bet to start.

CB: Kim Min-jae - Bayern's mini-break has helped Kim fully recover from a hip injury that was bothering him last week.

LB: Alphonso Davies - The Canadian has been healthy since the start of the new season and is once again performing as well as any full-back in Europe.

CM: Joshua Kimmich - Tuchel has a license to go strong here given the week off, so Kimmich will start in the midfield pivot.

CM: Leon Goretzka - The imposing German international is a crucial cog in Bayern's machine.

RW: Kingsley Coman - While Serge Gnabry is waiting in the wings, Coman has outperformed the German international for quite some time now.

AM: Jamal Musiala - Bayern have made do without Musiala for the past month but he was set to return to action last weekend, so he should be ready for a start in Frankfurt.

LW: Leroy Sane - The electric winger is enjoying his best season in Bavaria, notching 14 goal contributions in 12 Bundesliga games this term. Frankfurt can ill-afford to give the deadly Sane space in transition.

ST: Harry Kane - Bayern's newest goal machine is chasing all the scoring records in his first season at the club. After enjoying a breather last week and drawing a blank against FC Copenhagen, Kane must be desperate to find the back of the net again.
