Bayern Munich can win Group E on Tuesday night with a positive result against Ukrainian outfit Dynamo Kyiv.

The German champions suffered a shock defeat to Augsburg on Friday night, meaning their lead at the top of the Bundesliga is now just one point. In the Champions League they have won all four games, scoring 17 goals and conceding just two.

They have a number of injury issues and a few players missing due to coronavirus isolation and quarantine, so here's the side Julian Nagelsmann could put out in midweek.

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Manuel Neuer (GK) - At 35, the German remains one of the best goalkeepers in world football and captains Bayern.

Benjamin Pavard (RB) - Pavard is capable of playing centrally and out wide, but mainly plays at right-back. Gets his fair share of criticism but can be a threat in attacking positions.

Tanguy Nianzou (CB) - Dayot Upamecano is suspended and Niklas Sule is isolating, so teenager Nianzou could be given a chance in central defence. Hasn't started a club game since the 5-2 victory over Benfica at the start of November.

Lucas Hernandez (CB) - Without the aforementioned duo, Hernandez will be the senior defender alongside Nianzou.

Alphonse Davies (LB) - Came off the bench in the defeat to Augsburg but should replace Omar Richards in the starting XI.

2. Midfielders

Marcel Sabitzer (CM) - Has a slight knock but Nagelsmann will be hoping he's fit enough to start with Joshua Kimmich still in quarantine. Took criticism for his performance at Augsburg.

Leon Goretzka (CM) - A goal threat from central midfield, Goretzka has scored twice in the Bundesliga this season. Still looking for his first in the Champions League this term.

Thomas Muller (AM) - Pieces Bayern's attacks together and often gets on the end of them. Has nine assists in the Bundesliga already this campaign.

3. Forwards

Corentin Tolisso (RW) - With Serge Gnabry missing and Kingsley Coman a doubt, Tolisso may get a rare chance to start in an attacking position for Bayern. Has started once in the Bundesliga and made one brief substitute appearance in the Champions League this season.

Robert Lewandowski (ST) - Yeah, this guy's pretty good. Already has eight goals in Europe this season to go with 14 in the league.

Leroy Sane (LW) - Has made a fast start to his second season with Bayern. Already has four goals and four assists in the Champions League and netted twice in Germany's 9-0 victory over Liechtenstein during the international break.
