Bayern Munich predicted lineup vs Bayer Leverkusen - Bundesliga
Bayern Munich face their toughest game of their Bundesliga campaign so far on Sunday, facing off against a Bayer Leverkusen team that are level on points with them at the top of the table.
Julian Nagelsmann's side go into the top of the table clash off the back of their first defeat of the season - having lost 2-1 to a fairly bad Eintracht Frankfurt team before the international break.
Here's the team Nagelsmann should select this weekend to get Bayern back to winning ways.
Bayern Munich predicted lineup vs Bayer Leverkusen - Bundesliga
1. Goalkeeper & defenders
Manuel Neuer (GK) - If he's fit, he starts, because - as you know already - he is very, very, very good.
Josip Stanisic (RB) - The youngster will get a rare start this weekend due to Benjamin Pavard's suspension and Lucas Hernandez's legal issues.
Dayot Upamecano (CB) - Has been exceptional since signing for Bayern in the summer.
Niklas Sule (CB) - With Hernandez probably out (and potentially in prison...) Sule will slot back into the centre of defence after doing surprisingly well at right-back recently.
Alphonso Davies (LB) - He might be the funnest player to watch in Europe, and he's definitely starting this weekend.
2. Midfielders
Joshua Kimmich (CM) - There's been plenty of Ballon d'Or gaffes over the years, but Kimmich (the most well-round footballer in the world) not even being nominated for the 2021 award might the biggest of the lot.
Leon Goretzka (CM) - Speaking of the 'biggest of the lot', Goretzka is the most jacked footballer in the history of mankind. He'll start alongside Kimmich, because he's also very good at football.
Thomas Muller (AM) - He's still brilliant, and I will eat my hat if he doesn't set up a goal this weekend. Hold me to that.
3. Forwards
Serge Gnabry (RW) - Scored in Germany's win over Romania during the international break, and will be looking to do the same for Bayern this weekend.
Robert Lewandowski (ST) - It's mid-October and Lewa has already scored 13 goals in 10 Bayern games this season. Just give him the Ballon d'Or already.
Leroy Sane (LW) - Has really found his best form under Nagelsmann. In full flow he is basically impossible to stop.
