Bayern Munich will be seeking a return to winning ways in the Bundesliga when they welcome Arminia Bielefeld to the Allianz Arena on Saturday.

Without a host of stars due to quarantine, Julian Nagelsmann's side were condemned to a 2-1 defeat away to Augsburg last time out.

Their midweek Champions League success in snowy Ukraine over Dynamo Kyiv - earned through goals from Robert Lewandowski and Kingsley Coman - will have lifted spirits in the camp, although Nagelsmann will be aware there's no margin for error with Borussia Dortmund breathing down their necks at the top of the table.

Here's how Bayern could line up...

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Manuel Neuer (GK) - Approaching 36, the German still has a few seasons remaining in the tank.

Benjamin Pavard (RB) - Provides extra defensive security, allowing Davies on the opposite flank to attack with freedom.

Dayot Upamecano (CB) - In line for a return to the starting lineup this week after he was suspended for the trip to Ukraine in midweek.

Lucas Hernandez (CB) - Electric pace at the heart of the Bayern defence, allowing his side to be aggressive further up the pitch.

Alphonso Davies (LB) - Still only 21 years old, which is remarkable in itself.

2. Midfielders

Leon Goretzka (CM) - A powerhouse in midfield, offering Bayern Munich defensive protection as well security on the ball.

Corentin Tolisso (CM) - Joshua Kimmich won't be available for this weekend, meaning Tolisso is likely to retain his place.

Thomas Muller (AM) - Always a goal threat as the most advanced midfielder, the German is showing no signs of slowing down.

3. Forwards

Robert Lewandowski

Kingsley Coman (RW) - Seized his opportunity in the absence of Serge Gnabry with a goal against Dynamo Kiev.

Robert Lewandowski (ST) - An overhead kick to open the scoring in midweek, the Poland international is the best centre-forward on the planet.

Leroy Sane (LW) - Rediscovered his confidence under Nagelsmann, playing as a more traditional winger as he did at Man City.
