Bayern Munich kept up the habit of coming from behind as they beat Bayer Leverkusen 2-1 at the BayArena on Saturday thanks to two goals from Robert Lewandowski.

The visitors went behind to a hip-height volley from Patrik Schick that would've looked at home on the Puskas Award shortlist, while Bayern struggled to assert themselves in the game.

However, the newly crowned The Best FIFA Men's Player Lewandowski benefitted from a mix-up between keeper Lukas Hradecky and Jonathan Tah to nod home the equaliser shortly before half-time.

Lewandowski then stole it at the death, as his stoppage-time strike made it 19 games unbeaten and takes Bayern above Leverkusen at the summit of the Bundesliga.

Here are the Bayern Munich player ratings.

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Manuel Neuer (GK) - 6/10 - Apart from watching Schick's strike fly past him early in the first half, The Best FIFA Men's Goalkeeper didn't have a great deal to do.

Niklas Sule (RB) - 5/10 - Not a natural full back, the lumbering Sule was occasionally troubled by the pace and movement of Leverkusen's front line. He did make a game-high four tackles.

Jerome Boateng (CB) - 6/10 - Like Sule, Boateng's pace (or lack thereof) can be an issue. He and Hernandez just got the line right for Shick's offside goal which would've put Leverkusen two up.

Lucas Hernandez (CB) - 7/10 - Bayern's best defender on the night. Hernandez made five clearances, while no away player completed more passes (69).

Alphonso Davies (LB) - 7/10 - A welcome return to the side. Davies' pace and direct style is at times unplayable.

2. Midfielders

David Alaba (CM) - 5/10 - Moving into midfield for the first time this season, Alaba didn't look entirely comfortable with the hosts dominating much of the battle. Also managed to air-shot Davies' cross in the first half.

Corentin Tolisso (CM) - 5/10 - A largely forgettable display from the Frenchman who was hooked in the second half for the more thrusting Joshua Kimmich.

Thomas Muller (AM) - 8/10 - Got his seventh assist of the season as Hradecky and Tah got in each other's way from his cross. A doggedly Muller performance all round.

3. Forwards

Kingsley Coman (RW) - 5/10 - The Frenchman suffered a hamstring injury in the first half and was replaced by Leroy Sane.

Serge Gnabry (LW) - 8/10 - Made a game-high seven crosses, while only Moussa Diaby made more dribbles than his three.

Robert Lewandowski (ST) - 8/10 -
Even when he's not really at it, he still scores two. A worthy winner of the awkwardly named The Best award.

4. Subs

Leroy Sane - 5/10 - A first-half replacement for Coman, Sane suffered that most embarrassing of occurrences in becoming a sub who then gets subbed.

Joshua Kimmich - 7/10 - Standard brilliance from the German who added bite and drive to the midfield.

Jamal Musiala - 7/10 - The England Under-21 star hit the post in his 20-minute cameo and continues to look like a rising star.
