Barcelona aim to continue their fine form on Thursday night, as they host Galatasary in the Europa League.

La Blaugrana earned this round of 16 clash courtesy of a barnstorming 4-2 victory over Napoli - securing a 5-3 aggregate win - in the previous round, since which Xavi's men have only continued their fantastic form. Barca have now won six of their last eight in all competitions, scoring 14 in their last four outings.

They will also be hopeful of progressing in Europe, having to overcome a Galatasaray side that sits a hugely disappointing 12th in Turkey's top flight and that has won just twice in their last 11 across all competitions - losing seven in that time.

Ansu Fati, Sergi Roberto and Samuel Umtiti will all remain absent through injury.

Elsewhere, Xavi will have to make do without 17-year-old Gavi for this clash, as the midfielder serves a one-match suspension. As a result, Ferran Torres is expected to be restored to the lineup, while Sergino Dest should also return in place of the ineligible Dani Alves.

Galatasaray team news

Former Barca man Arda Turan is expected to miss out once again as he continues his recovery from a groin strain.

Meanwhile, Sofiane Feghouli and Kaan Arslan should both sit this one out, having been left out of their side's 2-0 defeat to Konyaspor last time out through injury.

Barcelona vs Galatasaray score prediction

When looking at the form guides, there's only one winner in this one.

Since the turn of the year, Galatasaray's form has severely nosedived to transform this campaign into a calamitous one, while Barcelona have thoroughly picked up to inspire great confidence in the current regime.

Xavi has instilled a new belief around the Camp Nou, and you'd expect La Blaugrana to make it through to the Europa League's final eight, starting with a comprehensive win on Thursday night.

Prediction: Barcelona 3-0 Galatasaray
