Barcelona are said to be open to offers for USMNT winger Konrad de la Fuente this summer.

Having featured 23 times for the B team, the Miami-born attacker has made his breakthrough into the first-team set-up this season all be it appearing on just a few occasions. De la Fuente appeared for Ronald Koeman's side twice in the Champions League earlier this season and has featured once in the Copa del Rey.

The 19-year-old winger has often trained with the first-team this season but, as reported by ESPN, despite signs of promise Barca are open to the possibility of cashing in on him this summer.

The American has been with the La Liga giants since 2013 but, despite never previously being regarded as one of La Masia's high-profile youth products, it is now thought he needs to be playing regularly at a higher level than the Spanish third division.

Aside from being an impressive player technically, De la Fuente is blessed with electric pace and has been described as a throwback to the traditional touchline-hugging wingers of years gone by.

As talented as he looks, from a sporting perspective it would make little sense to keep him given the competition at the club and from a financial standpoint the sale of a player expected to fetch a healthy transfer fee could represent good business.

His current contract at the Camp Nou is due to expire in 2022 although the Catalan's have the option of extending it to 2024. As per the report, Barcelona would prefer to complete a sale but wish to insert a buy-back clause in the event he is sold this summer.
