La Liga champions Barcelona will welcome European hopefuls Real Sociedad to Camp Nou on Saturday.

While the main job is done for Xavi's side, Barcelona remain in pursuit of some all-time defensive records and will undoubtedly have been warned not to lose focus until that extra spot in the history books is secured.

With records on the line, here's how Xavi could set up.

Barcelona predicted lineup vs Real Sociedad (4-3-3)

GK: Marc-Andre ter Stegen - La Liga's clean sheet record stands at 26 for a single season. Ter Stegen currently sits on 25 and has four chances to claim this as his own.

RB: Jules Kounde - Sergi Roberto is expected to get some action before the season comes to an end but this defensive record is too important to take any unnecessary risks at this point.

CB: Ronald Araujo - In this legendary defensive season, Araujo has emerged as one of the premier centre-backs around.

CB: Andreas Christensen - A La Liga title in his debut season at Camp Nou. Not bad.

LB: Alejandro Balde - Balde has earned Xavi's faith and deserves the chance to play an even bigger role in history.

DM: Sergio Busquets - The farewell tour begins for Busquets, who will line up opposite the man who could well take his place, Martin Zubimendi.

CM: Pedri - Gavi is suspended for this one so Pedri will have the fly the youthful flag in midfield.

CM: Frenkie de Jong - We have a few weeks left of peace before the De Jong rumour mill starts churning at 100% again. Enjoy it while you can.

RW: Ousmane Dembele - Dembele has a £50m release clause in his contract but is not humouring leaving Camp Nou and is almost certainly going to ink a new deal with a higher clause.

ST: Robert Lewandowski - The Pole is four goals clear in the Pichichi race, with reigning champ Karim Benzema chasing him down.

LW: Raphinha - Xavi is a big fan of Raphinha but may be forced to sacrifice the former Leeds man as he looks to try and sign some Argentinian guy this summer.
