Barcelona coach Xavi leads his team to Saudi Arabia this week for the start of the 2022/23 Supercopa de Espana.

The Catalans have won this competition more than anyone else in its history and have qualified this time around by virtue of finishing second in La Liga last season.

Real Betis are the opponent that awaits in the semi-final. Win and Xavi's team will get through to the final against either Real Madrid or Valencia.

Robert Lewandowski

GK: Marc-Andre Ter Stegen - The new fourth captain was left on the bench against Intercity in the Copa del Rey but should start here.

RB: Jules Kounde - Not signed as a right-back but thriving in the role.

CB: Eric Garcia - Ronald Araujo has not long returned from a lengthy injury layoff so there could be reason to rotate at the back.

CB: Andreas Christensen - Has been a regular since recovering from injury in early November.

LB: Jordi Alba - Eligible to return for this after serving a suspension in La Liga at the weekend.

CM: Gavi - Assisted the winner against Atletico and gaining experience all the time. It is remarkable that he is still only 18 and will be until August.

CM: Sergio Busquets - Will be keen to contribute towards what could be one of his final trophies in a Barcelona shirt should he leave when his contract expires in June.

CM: Pedri - Rested completely against Intercity recently but would like to keep his place here.

RW: Ousmane Dembele - The once injury-prone winger hasn't suffered any new injuries since Xavi took charge in November 2021 and club physio Carlos Nogueira has been credited for it.

ST: Robert Lewandowski - Barcelona lost multiple appeals over an extended suspension in La Liga, causing him to miss the Atletico game. But that ban doesnt apply here.

LW: Ansu Fati - Filled in for Lewandowski centrally at the weekend but likely to move back wide.
