La Liga leaders Barcelona will face Real Betis for the second time in a month when the two sides butt heads on Wednesday.

Xavi's side came out on top when they met in the Super Cup semi-final, needing a penalty shoot-out to get the job done after a nervy 2-2 draw after 120 minutes, but he'll hope for something a little more convincing this time around.

Here's how he could set up.

Barcelona predicted lineup vs Real Betis (4-3-3)

GK: Marc-Ander ter Stegen - Barcelona boast the best defensive record in La Liga by a long way and most of that is down to some sublime performances from Ter Stegen.

RB: Jules Kounde - With Hector Bellerin heading out, Kounde may have to spend even more time at right-back.

CB: Ronald Araujo - Another who could fill in on the right, Araujo feels too important centrally to waste out wide.

CB: Andreas Christensen - Christensen has been in excellent form over the past few weeks, which has also contributed to Kounde's shift over.

LB: Jordi Alba - Marcos Alonso put on a real horror show in his 45 minutes against Girona, before Alba came on and bagged the winning assist.

DM: Sergio Busquets - Guilty of playing a little too slow against Girona, Busquets is still too influential to drop. Just needs to step it up a gear.

CM: Frenkie de Jong - Dutchman De Jong brings most of the energy to Barcelona's midfield trio.

CM: Pedri - Winning goals are becoming a calling card of Pedri's, who has bagged the only goal of Barcelona's last two league games.

RW: Raphinha - With Ousmane Dembele out, Raphinha is going to have to step up his creativity even further.

ST: Robert Lewandowski - Lewandowski has served his suspension and is now finally back available. Expect him to start.

LW: Gavi - Almost a false-winger, Gavi will be on the left of the teamsheet but will spend a lot of his time in the centre of midfield.
