Barcelona welcome Rayo Vallecano to the Camp Nou as Xavi's men look to make it back-to-back wins in their pursuit of securing automatic Champions League qualification.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's solitary strike was enough to secure a priceless victory at Real Sociedad in midweek, moving Barça into 2nd place on goal difference.

However, a spate of defensive injuries means Xavi may have to reshuffle his backline heading into this weekend, with concerns over Dani Alves, Gerard Pique and Ronald Araujo's availability.

Here's how Barça could line up.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen (GK) - Hasn't been at his best this season, but the arrival of Xavi has led to an upturn in form.

Sergino Dest (RB) - Could replace Dani Alves at right-back, who was forced off injured in the win over Real Sociedad.

Clement Lenglet (CB) - Appeared to be struggling towards the end of the game in midweek and Xavi will hope it's nothing serious.

Eric Garcia (CB) - A big opportunity to re-establish himself in the side with Ronald Araujo set to miss out.

Jordi Alba (LB) - Continues to go the extra mile for Barcelona, proving the cornerstone of Xavi's rebuild.

Sergio Busquets (CM) - Keeps Barcelona moving in midfield, helping create angles for teammates to base their movements off.

Frenkie de Jong (CM) - A big threat to the opposition with his late runs from midfield.

Gavi (CM) - Reported some slight discomfort after the game in midweek, but he's young and should be fine.

Adama Traore (RW) - Could replace Ousmane Dembele on the wing given the Frenchman's well-documented fitness issues.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (ST) - Netted the opener in midweek, adding his ninth goal in La Liga since arriving at Barca.

Ferran Torres (LW) - Has made a huge goalscoring impact since arriving from Man City.
