Barcelona are said to be interested in a summer move for Stuttgart wing-back Borna Sosa, who could be available for just €25m (£20.9m).

After a quiet start following his move from Dinamo Zagreb, Sosa has impressed for the German side over the past two seasons. During the 2020/21 he registered 10 assists as newly-promoted Stuttgart finished just outside the European places.

He has been in good form this term too, laying on seven goals for his teammates, even if his side have been sucked into a relegation battle.

According to Kicker, there was significant interest in his services during the January transfer window but Sosa agreed to stay to help Stuttgart battle against relegation.

However, as part of these negotiations, the Bundesliga side are said to have vowed to let the player depart if interested clubs meet their €25m valuation.

One of the sides said to be in the hunt for Sosa is Barcelona. La Blaugrana have undergone quite the transformation since Xavi took over as manager in November, losing just once in 18 La Liga matches and rising to second in the table.

Sosa is not the only player they are keeping an eye on either. Barça are also thought to be closing in on a double swoop for Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta from Chelsea, while Franck Kessie is in their sights too.
